Default Too dark at night?

so im on my first patrol as Klaus Korth (a real uboat captain who captained the U93 which was launched on same day as my birthday thats how i picked this name ) were just off the west coast of ireland and we get a visual but when i get to the bridge all i see is LITERALLY BLACK its impossible to see anything at all!

This is a brand new install with commander, GWX 3.0 and a few other mods it may be worth pointing out im using a 27 inch tv as my monitor but have had no issues with any other games in the dark? does anyone know a fix for this or should i just grim and bear it, i dont think attacking at night would be an option lol i also noticed there was no moon or stars etc, hoping its not bugged

thanks for any info given!

years ago i ran into the same problem after installing a mod... if high noon also appears a little bleak or dull its probably the gamma or brightness on the screen which needs adjustment.

another recommendation - give this environment mod a shot and see if that helps

EDIT: i am not sure what the mods you are running are, but be sure and check for mod cross contamination before installing via JSGME - as long as you dont have any other environmental mods installed (16 km atmosphere etc) it should be fine (i think this mod is a 16 or 20km atmosphere)

I've tried turning the brightness up to no avail! I'm only using that 16km gwx mod and Thompson sound mod, nothing that should interfere with environment. And yes it's ok in the day

I recommend disabling the 16km atmosphere mod - running the game - and seeing if there is any difference
