Default [Rel] Skin: (weathered) Gato camo/noncamo

Hi,

this is a skin for the Gato class boats.
For this one I focused mainly on two aspects: I tried to gave it a weathered look, with rust and washed up colors where appropriate, some black parts where the engine smoke constantly goes by.

I made an attempt to create an oil canning look. Oil canning describes the metal skin of a ship being pushed towards the inner side by the constant pressure. Especially submarines are prone to this as you can imagine .
Read more about it here: http://www.rokket.biz/models/modelsw...57/prog1.shtml

I also invented a fictional camouflage scheme. It reminds me a bit of the historical dazzle camo, the US Navy used at these times.

Again, the skin includes a version for the early and late war period each, so that the game will change it appropriately (somewhere around '44).

Here is what it all looks like:

I will also a non-camo version and one that looks less weathered for the ones of us who drive some brand new models .

EDIT: Gna ... almost forgot to again thank Foofighters for his nice high res skin I used as a base, found here:

Happy sailing
