Torpedo reload time....?

Hey mates.

Questions:

1. Do I need to pro-actively re load my torpedos after I shoot
or is that automatic. And If I need to do something to reload
how do I accomplish that.

2. Also, what were the true historically accurate reload times.

On my last mission I could have easily sunk a carrier but...
the torpedos took forever to load and the Destroyers came back.

Thanks.

You can select wether or not to 'automatically' reload the tubes or select the load out manually. Its a check box in the 'orders' screen.

Choosing battle stations will shorten reload times, having qualified crews in the proper compartments will shorten reload times.

Historically accurate is actually probably considerably longer, espically if your running un-modded.

DD's comming back, yea they do that its their job after all. Make your fist attack as efficent as possible, chances are pretty good you wont get a second try.

Without this forum I'd be sunk....literally.

Something I discovered was if you were set for silent running the reloads took forever because they were trying to be quiet... be sure to turn off silent running when you go to reload. It will spend up reloads considerably.

heh literally forever because they stop loading altogether. Nothing will get done untill Silent running is canceled.

Even if you order up flank speed somehow the crew remains quiet.

You just gotta love all the little nuances in this game... or at least I am beginning to.
