Default Dugout canoe range difficulties

In GWX, at 9 knots, I can't even get a Type IIA to last 5 days before it runs out of fuel. What in blazes? This is unacceptable. I'm not one to complain about range, but this is just impossible. The IIs were usually at sea for about 2 weeks on end and I can't keep mine at sea for any more than 5 days?!

Default endurance

The most fuel efficient speed is probably 6 or 7 Knts not 9. To check which speed is best, after you are out of port set the speed at various values and ask the navigator what range you have at that speed. Make sure you are not in recharge mode when you do this. You will have enough fuel for two weeks.

Alright. I'll try that. I'm used to the most fuel-efficient speed being 9 knots, but that's in a VII or IX boat. Thank you.

Ahead 1/3. Runs about 6 knots. Three to four weeks travel time, if you go Ahead Slow while in the patrol zone. Probably they didn't have that much food.
