Jokes on you dipstick, a large majority of us have not had CTD problems. Ive played the game since release, no patches, no CTD issues. Patches only improved things.

I'm a bit confused about the release dates: The patch will come this month and the add-on next spring, is that right?

Assassin's Creed is created by the Ubisoft's studio in Canada while Silent Hunter is created by Ubisoft Romania. There is no connection between the two Ubisoft studios.

Intelligent, mature people know how to deal with UBI products: you buy the product when it comes out (to support the devs and the niche), then wait for the patches. Maybe it'll work out of the box. UBI sets a software release date, and the product goes out come hell or high water, or both. Just coz you have a disk in hand doesn't mean it's a finished product. That's the UBI way.

It did work out of the box. At least for me.

Yes there were a few show stoppers but they were addressed quickly. A few more minor issues to be addressed in 1.4.

The add on is icing on the cake... now all I got to do is come up with the money.

How do you know they aren't? Have you seen the final change log for the patch and/or personally asked the developers what all has been fixed?
