Thanks for clearing this for me. My g/f thinks she saw the label in the liquor store here in Ohio. I might give it a shot.

Hope fully I won't go mad, who would finish this mod...

Also, she was disappointed that there's no 'dog' on the label....

Thanks! That is exactly what I am aiming for, but there is a small catch: some boats didn't have any and for some boats I have only b&w sketches and I really don't want to "guesstimate" the colors.

Also, if the members here want to help, I would appreciate any decent quality historical pictures of the towers with emblems. I have pretty big archive but not (by a long shot) covering all of them.

Yes, I have seen both already.
The http://www.uboataces.com/ref-insignia.shtml is actually an "online version" of Georg Hogel's U-boat Emblems of World War II 1939-1945 book. BTW great book!
What I'm looking for are actual photographs of the boats.

Thanks, guys! Just a quick note for German/Austrian/Swiss users: there are a lot of emblems which contain swastikas. I know the symbol is outlawed in Germany and Austria. not sure about Switzerland.

Just don't want you to get in any troubles.
