I hope Kimi will win this year, then Kovalainen next year.
Then David Couldthard, Rubens Barrichello, Alex Wurz, Jenson Button and so on...

But F1 ain't what it used to be around 1994~2002. I liked it more then...
"Then" they were able to overtake on road, now overtakes are done in the pit tactics (mostly, position changing overtakes at least)... and they used to drive more "loose" rear and spinning wheels in starts and so on... Traction control sucks.

As I said, I liked F1 more at previous millennia (is that a real word?).
I think main reason was Mika Häkkinen chasing for 1st win at Jerez and then the titles later years. (I was almost F1 fanatic during 1994-2000, maybe to 2002).
Second best reason was Damon Hill vs Michael Schumacher in halfway 90s. I liked them both and I think Damon Hill is underestimated driver, because he was compared to Schumacher who is best of all time (my opinion) and because Hill drived Williams... How many remembers Hill almost winning with Arrows car?
Hill had, maybe ~40 second lead with Arrows on second last lap and then problems... but he did came 2nd after all, I think Villeneuve won that race...but anyway...
Then I've always hoped that Jacques Villeneuve would succeed to get 2nd title, but no ... after all he still has Indycar title, Indianapolis 500 victory and F1 title 1997
Also I think Mika Salo is "no bullsh*t" -kind of driver, who says what he means.

As you can see, mainly Finnish drivers, but as a Finnish guy that is pretty obvious

One glad thing though... Spa-Francorchamps should be back this year... I think
I like it very much

So, Massa on pole for tomorrows race, but I expect him to be about fifth after lap 1, so this is my tip:

1. Raikkonen
2. Alonso
3. Hamilton
4. Heidfeld (Go BMW!)
5. Massa
6. Kubica (Go BMW)
7. Trulli
8. Webber

yeah, you finns start driving sideways over ice already in your baby-cart, so when you have a high-performance car with slicks on a gravel track it seems to you somehow like cheating:rotfl:

Environment cheat is a plus in this case.
We are cheating with cheat codes

Thanks for kind words. I answered besides of Kimi (without asking), I believe he's busy with that Ferrari work and all. He can't answer here by himself right now... or it could be that Jenni is nagging to him, that he shouldn't play so much with his computer...

Great drive by hamilton again. Blew Alonso away and kept Raikonnen behind him even when in the second stinit Raikonnen was gaining. Funny how on tyres that weren't the best Hamilton did better than Alonso.

Yeah looks like Alonso didn't find the right setup for his car this time. Too tail-happy and nervous, but again doing a proper setup is part of being a top driver, so he got beaten rightfully. What I didn't like much was Hamilton's unfair moves in the start until first corner came. He purposedly blocked Alonso -who had started much better- with dangerous zig-zagging. Seeing that he was going to be faster later, I concede that it was correct to defend the position in the start strongly, but anyway he did for my taste go too far. Great driving all the rest of the race, tho for Hamilton again.

I agree with that.

I hope he still wants to bite hard a couple of seasons in, we may have a world champaign who will fight tooth and nail as the great MS did. I'm not interested in flash in the pan champions.

This season has the potential to develop into a multiple horse race. If that's the case it will be really great to watch. The last time we really saw more than two drivers fighting (with actual chances of wining) for the title was in 1986 with Sena (in his Lotus years), Prost (with his McLaren Porsche), Mansell and Piquet (with the ultra-fast Williams Hondas). Something is telling me though that in the end Hamilton and Massa will fall back and support Kimi and Fernando

It's nice to see a 3 way tie on the championship leader board.

I'm not sure about Ferrari but Maclaren will certainly let the battle between Alsono & Hamilton play it's course. They have a no-loose situation at the moment, they have a Current World Champion & a (possible) future World Champion.

Besides, Maclaren have a vested interest in Hamilton as they have been sponsoring & training/grooming him for most of his career and I'm sure that they would like to see that their 'youth training' get the maximium publicity possible. Also, did you hear how angry Alonso was after the race, I think he might have been told not to try and catch Hamilton. I think it's game on in the Maclaren camp.

The race was ok, I guess. Great drive by Hamilton, and I am very surprised Massa held on to the finish. Kudos to him, he must have been under an enourmous amount of pressure in that race.

Anybody notice BMW is getting closer to the two top teams?
