F1 2007 Thread
12 days to go folks before we kick off in Australia and with the spectra of Michael Schumacher now in retirement the field is open, which team or teams you backing or driver? Who's got the bit between there teeth too pull it off and who could be the dark stalking horses which could surprise us all?
|
Ferrari all the way:yep: I support them since 1978 when they were racing with Jody Schecter and Gilles Villeneuve, and as you can imagine I cannot stop now:D In any case we'll miss the German a lot but as they say in America "Nobody is bigger than the game itself";)
|
 Ferrari,
thought its going to be weird without Schumacher...but the heck if you see all the new guys in it. Like KIMI, Alonso and some others they proofed to be a good show so. bring it on  |
Can't get into F1.............to boring.
|
I used to watch alot of F1 and little NASCAR. Now I watch alot of NASCAR and no F1.
I hope for anyone but Alonso to succeed. Which is a pitty, since he'll be racing for McLaren (right?), because I like McLaren, but I dislike Alonso more. If I watched races just to see crashes, I'd hope for Alonso to crash every single race, without harming himself or anybody else. But I don't, and I wish the best to every driver & team. |
Ahh, STEED. a fellow F1-nut i gather?
For me it has always been Williams, since early 90`s anyway, and the dark period between 1996 and 2001 was hard. Anyway, when Sir Frank opted for Toyota engines I couldnt take it anymore, so now I am backing BMW Sauber with an eye at Williams. Go Quick-Nick and Robert! Looks like we will have a battle between Ferrari and McLaren this year, with BMW and Renault close behind. |
Ferrari always, with Williams a close second.
|
My tip is Kimi to win the title.
Looking forward to having some more good sport to watch on a sunday afternoon:D |
I may switch this year, not sure yet. Time to bone up on this year's info. :yep:

Hire a Finn to Winn.
Kovalainen, followecd his career for years,
he is a good guy that goes hunting in his free time. Räikkönen is a clown and an idiot, he goes out jumping drunk in a gorilla suite.. And Rosberg, well he cant speak Finnish, otherwise seems ok but probably the slowest of the three. |
I´ve moved the posts about F1 racing games here:

I hoep Hamilton does well and doesn't get to downheartened by racing with Alonso who is probably going to do better but who can tell.
I really hope the British press don't hype him up like they did with Button. It has started in some wasy but not so bad. As for Button, well he made some cock ups but I hope he goes well. He's a decent driver and just has had not quite good enough cars. Reading abour what Rubens said about him and his smooth style is a bonus. He doesn't use the traction control so much. As for DC, making up the numbers till pension day? Still I might have to do a live watching of Oz GP as it is the first one. |
BMW and Robert Kubica!!! Curious about Ferrari and Mercedez after their personal charades. Shame that Schumi is out, F1 ain't the same without him.
18th of march... oh yes...:hmm: these sunday afternoons.... a can of Fosters and fry-up.... |
