It has to become primary for the Ravens. The stats for Flacco say otherwise but watching Joe waffle the ball time and time again one begins to wonder just how we win a majority of the time.

I agree on that one.

But coming back to Joe, he seems to just to do enough to win. To this point that has been his MO

Ask the Packers about run defense. They didn't get that e-mail.

Alot of folks here with "no horse in the race" where are the folks that have one?
Though the Pack are out it's still fun to chime in.

As far as others with teams in, I think many are low key and will let there teams do the talking this weekend.

I actually saw a stat, that since the AFL-NFL Merger, no same last 4 playoff teams have ever been the same. Go through the years, and look at the last 4 teams standing, they have never been the same since the merger.

NFL is one of the most dynamic sports.

I am a Yankee fan, and am bored by them, oh ho hum they won again. Or in recent years, they crapped the bed again.

But football boils my blood. Even if my team was not in it, I can enjoy the game still, find my bad guy to root against.

Hands down, Americas sport.

Considering the lack of Hockey, baseball and Basketball threads.

Free agency makes it tough to return the next year because you cannot hold together the same group of guys.

Denver's loss last Sunday was especially hard, as because of the great run they had they are losing coaches. Which players stay or go remains to be seen, but also having to replace offensive and defensive coordinators is tough.

All that aside, you got Peyton Manning.

If your GM is truly commited, he will get the tools needed. Maybe Revis who the Jets may not resign. Great DB.

Denver was only a few pieces away. They made Tebow look like gold last year.

It is my opinion that Denvers lack of running game makes them easy to defenses. Not trashing your boys now, just saying it makes it harder on Peyton if he has to carry the entire load.

You guys got Manning, It could be worse.

I would have killed for him, he almost was a Niner. But I like what we got, no harm, no foul, glad he is not in my division

Now, like in any sport, it is up to the GM to bring in the right pieces.

Lost #1 and then #2 running backs to injury. In the earlier meeting with Baltimore Denver had more than double their yards rushing. They certainly had a ground game before the injuries.
Tough to replace coaches. And commitment can only go as far as the salary cap.

I really think this was their shot. They will win their division next year but will do it with a weaker team than this one.

I salute Baltimore for getting the job done. They were the better team this time around.

Yeah, Vick does not want to restructure his contract so I would agree there. They need to turn the page on him.

There's no way that the Eagles are going to pay 16 million just to retain him. So, yeah, he'll be starting somewhere else next season.
