And there it dies, along so many other series.
RIP Total War, I am sorry that you feel the need to satisfy the fantasy nerds in the future, instead of your core fans.

Nah, Warhammer actually makes logical sense in the TW framework.

Where Total War actually died and was buried and will forever be shamed was when they decided to do Total War Arena

Have you ever been on the Total War Central forums? Some of the biggest and most popular threads there are about mods like the one that changes Medieval II: Total War into a Lord of the Rings Total War game.

First Look At Total War: Warhammer Is Totally Warhammer

Quote:
Initial details from publisher SEGA confirm the game will include the Empire (under Karl Franz), the Greenskins (under Grimgor Ironhide), the Dwarfs (under High King Thorgrim) and the Vampire Counts (under Mannfred von Carstien). Chaos, whether Tzeentch or not, isn’t mentioned by name, but it does say here that “a greater threat still whispers in the winds from the north. The fabric of reality itself begins to rend and buckle” so yeah, Chaos is in there too.
Gimmeeeee!

Awesome to see the series branching out. Maybe I'll get into Warhammer thanks to this

Now if only they would do WH40k and let us invade other worlds (thats the game I really want, some sort of 4X & Total War RTT mashup).

This is good too though.

I personally cant wait to see actual screenshots of the game in action, after Rome 2 I kinda said "They can go fly a kite" but this might change my mind if its good.
