I only had the sticky escort once and it was my own escort it followed alway the to England

Indeed, I think that the Destroyers in TWOS are too precise and aggressive, I even think even more than they could have been in real life.

In my experience, I have seen destroyers have a 30 minute threshold without detection of any kind to stop hunting you. If they re-acquire contact, util they lost contact will be another 30 minutes. Therefore, my strategy is, before any submerged attack, as a matter of principle I already have Silent Running active, and I maintain it all the time, post attack: immediately after launching the torpedoes, dive with engines stopped beyond 100m depth where Sonar is no longer so accurate... if they haven't detected me, it will be enough to wait 30 minutes... So, go Silent, go Deep... In most cases it works for me...

I disagree from reading history, as far as TMO is concerned, It's just too hard for me, and too realistic to last long for me. I went with TmoWtw, closer to my lame skipper skills.

If active silent not going to do you any good you want to keep moving change dept course speed real life tactics will work if on surface your spotted crash dive soon as you are under change direction slow your speed most of the time they going be looking at the direction you us heading stuck destoyer save and relog
