Default Full Combat Manual

New to Dangerous Waters, however I did play 688I years ago. I no longer have that game and I hate online manuals. Does anyone know if this Full Combat Manual is still available to purchase? I cant seem to get an answer/email returned from any staff. I would hate to paypal an order only to have to fight to get my money back. I am sure some of you know what I mean.

Unfortunatly while the game manual is great when it comes to explaining what the various buttons and stations do it isn't that useful in regard to how to employ the stations in a useful way.

In other words ... game manual = buttonology, community created manuals = tactics. However, nobody stos you from downloading and printing the community manuals.

Thank you both for your replies, I have done both. Ordered the manual and have found a lot of downloads that should prove helpful in getting me up to speed quicker.

Cheers!

If you still have your old 688 H/K manual, have another look at it. It really explains some things better than the hefty 580-page DW manual. Also, subs are pretty much unchanged (except for button layout), so it's mainly the flyables and of course the FFG where the DW manual comes in handy.

Yeah. The 688i Hunterkiller book even had a tutorial in it that took you through pretty much everything in a really nice way. I think it does a better job of teaching tactics than the DW manual too.
