Confession: I did it again last night.

I pulled a Yellow Sea patrol from Pearl. I set a course for Midway and called "ahead standard," then finished planning my route to reach station. That's when the trouble started.

With the course laid in, the watch set and the boat ready for sea we were underway. There was nothing left to do except.....head for the bridge.

The sunsets and sunrises were so beautiful... (even the wife noticed!)
The diesels were humming so soothingly...

Umm, don't tell Admiral Lockwood, but I never made it further than three days out from Pearl!
