I never raid harbours
![]() in real world it was very dangerous and very rare during the war. , prien was very afortunate to survive . Imagine....shallow waters, mines, nets , be jumped by a destroyer, or trapped as a fly in the spider net, its not the best way to finish a very succesfull career. :hmm: i prefer lurk around the port in deep waters ![]()

Ahh! But the beauty of neutral harbours is that... they're neutral! One can literally sail into port on the surface!
Of course if there's an enemy warship docked, things may get a bit sticky... ![]() |

I think New York is one of the best in terms of total tonnage/renown from the various ships that can be there. Will always be several cargo ships and some tankers too. Security inside is really lax, usually a small patrol craft that disintigrates after a shell from the deck gun. Last time I visited NY there was a Passenger Cruiser which scores some hefty renown.
Best thing about almost all the harbors is being able to use the deck gun to conserve torpedos, or practice hitting the sweet spot on the T3's to where they sink with one toperedo. |

Hit the Azores on an otherwise frustrating and dangerous patrol in a CF grid from 25MAY43 - 28JUN43. Bagged a 12411 ton Brit tanker sitting all smugly docked there. Crew drinking port thinking they were safe.

Just met a convoy coming out of the harbour in Rekjavik. Reported as enemy by BdU except when i spotted it there were no flags on any of the ships merchie or naval. Down scope, scratched my head, up scope and they all had british flags. Was gonna attack but had 12m under my keel submerged and decided against it. I'm learning
