Don't worry about it mate. We all do stupid mistakes like these. So once you have the executable file (GWX 1.02.exe) in your desktop or in any other folder you want just double click on it. That will run the file and bring up the installer's Navigation Window. After that you just need to follow the instructions.

One last thing. In order to install GWX 1.02 you MUST have a CLEAN copy of GWX. That means:
1. Be at Port
2. Rollback Sh3Cmd
3. Disable ALL mods via JSGME
4. Replace ALL files you have changes (like Cfg for renown and stuff)

that way the installer will run fine. The only thing you need to do in the Installation is to guide the installer to the GWX directory. That means you need to browse through your system and find it (in the little icon in the installation window). It's easy don't worry about it.

I double clicked (though exec label was missing) and voila, the installer came on and easy as peach.

Patch is in and everything working fine.
After returning to port BDU gave me an iron cross for bothering everyone.

Many thanks to Bigboywolly, Jimbuna, Melbonian, Jscones and Danlisa. you're all great buddies.

Now, the rotating RDF antenna drives me nutz. Life is rough.

All the helpers can now go back to work, patrol or whatever. I will also start my day with the annoying things that have nothing to do with sinking Tommies.
