True, but there's something about a bloke with no shirt and a sailor hat that makes one wonder where this website is coming from.

Now tell me there's no resemblance to my avatar and the young fella on the left!
And I think that is Navy Dude on the right? I'm not asking what this movie is about...... enough said

Just remember that the state of the sea plays a big part in your being detected now. Fortunatly (or unfortuantly if your masochistic), rough weather is pretty much the norm in SH3.

Rough weather is great. I can stay about 2500m on either side of the convoy, surfaced, with impunity. I believe I can get closer too! The rougher the better I always say. I'm hiding between the troughs

Ah, I didn't know this. My American experience so far as all been in very rough seas (15m/s wind speed).

the dumbest american unit in SH3 I ever have seen was a PT boat in Ny harbour, he rammed himself land onwards he slide back in totally burning.

the funny part was when I got out of the harbour he was still patrolling so in the middle of the night I could see where he was going :rotfl:

Seen that pt boat myself tonight when I entered NY harbour beached itself on land and burning away.I was going to surface a finish her off but it seems NY has gun enplacments now so I don't think surface engagements are wise.

Hey, now. Don't go blamin the Americans. The Germans can do it just as well, too. :rotfl:

This was a screenshot I took a long time ago of a German Schnellboot. I was leaving Lorient. The shot is unedited save for the text at the top. I had used it as a signature way back when. The shot was taken using the < and > keys.
