What do you have to do to get the subs? do you have to work your way up to them or do you have to have a premium account?

You have to have a bridge operator level 37ish to get a sub.

For germans this is right after your first Cruiser.

All you have to do is work your way up to them. You don’t need any sort of premium account, just a BO of the requisite level (US Lvl 38, UK Lvl 37, IJN Lvl38, KM Lvl 37) and a crew to support it.

Are you sure this is the case? I'm almost completely sure the only monthly fees are optional. You just have to suffer with 40% less xp or something.

level 38 d'oh! my guy is at lvl 23. I'll need to play this non-stop to get up there . Has anybody used mines yet? I keep getting my but kicked in the akizuki .

Slight update: Finally got enough points to upgrade my other main gunner to well gunner so I can finally throw on the 5.9s on.

Also first crewman (a gunner) hit level 30. \o/ BO is still at 28 I think.

Mines are worthless

The Akizuki is a nice ship, especially the remodel, I think you can fit the Dual 5.5"ers on it and that pretty much outguns every DD except the Tsuki, Z99 and DDX (Ya know, the ones that never actually existed)

Right so I finally can use a Koenigsberg, unfortunatly I need like 40-50k more credits till I can actually buy it. Ah well, i'l get some gunner levels and maybe get enough points to boost my special forces dude up to be a rookie pilot.

You don't need a subscription to play at all, but it does make leveling faster at higher levels. Case in point, my main Bridge Operator is just shy of the Iowa class (that's level 89), and I have used precisely zero subscriptions playing the game.

you must play waaaaaaaay more often than I do.:rotfl:

Only a few more points till I get my Koenisburg :| Also had an epic game where I got 25k Attack, record for me.

Also 50 ships sunk so far. (Well got last blows on)
