Dynamic Shadows?

DynamicShadows=No to Yes

Hummmm resurrected necro-thread :hmm:

but anyway....

I enabled it long ago on an old NVidia card and I noticed a difference: Some textures corrupted into lime green colour and strange bright metal refelctions appeared

So there is something working there after all, though probably very unfinished and not worth it.

Thank you for the answers , it seems is a not finished feature , each thing have the dark and bright side in the SH3/4 game but dont have shadows

I see/reading that you don't see the difference with dynamic shadows???
Why , I don't understand !?!
I can see clearly difference , such as , shadows on the torps , beautyful sea , the game is running smoothly etc etc . I have NVIDIA 8600 GT card . Good graphics

I think you have a missunderstood , actually everything in the SH3/SH4 game have the dark and bright side but there are no shadows on the floor of the sub or on the surface of the water , never projected shadows

Hitman would it be possible for someone close to Ubi to enlighten us what was the plan before it got cut out?

Maybe someone here would take on the challenge to finished it? If possible?

The shadows feature only works in the unpatched v1.0 game and even then not properly, you`ll see all sorts of wierdness.
