I mostly do it like this. I turn .. correct contact moves just a little .. mirrored a lot. This is more useful in sub, but on FFG there is bearing rate displayed, so it's easy too. Also both contacts can be seen on nav-map until resolved (maybe auto-TMA can mess with it, not sure, I play ffg with no TMA at all). Then on navmap you see one contact moving, the other contact not moving.
