sinking shipping is independent of the deployment location. Sometimes they throw you into a target rich environment, other times they drop you in the middle of nowhere with *no* chance of finding shipping. I like to just kill the engines and give the boys a break if there's a specific time frame I have to stay there.

After the break, it's all business and I hit every shipping lane and interseciton within range. Palau has always been good to me, and I caught a Passenger liner coming from Japan once. I like the "free reign" part of it. I can refuel/rearm at will and ask for more orders if I need to.
