This type of scarf is called a Shemagh and they are worn by US and Coalition forces in AF and IZ.

"called the garment "a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos"."

No it is an old and rather effective article of protective clothing worn by many types of people in that region.

I believe that terrorists also wear shoes, should we be banning shoes next?

Apparently your disagreement with Malkin makes you (in her words):

Anti-American, pro-Palestinian jihad, violent, anti-Israel, left-wing, a jihad apologist,
you are "bending over backwards [for] anti-American political correctness" and a
"liberal commentator on the Internet [..] now up in arms over Dunkin Donut’s decision to yank
the ad and mock anyone who expresses concern over the keffiyeh’s symbolism" as well
as being "anti-Semitic".

Do you often get called a left-wing, liberal, anti-American, anti-Semitic jihadist who
bends over backwards for political correctness?

Talk about being out-flanked on the right.

Do you guys think that making jokes (at least i hope they are jokes) about committing murder really helps your argument?

Helping arguments?

Oh, no, that's just there to tickle my funny bone.
Perhaps me and Quark have a (strange) sense of humor.

Do you think sarcasm really helps your argument?

I'd say that depends on whether it made you consider the wisdom of that type of humor.
