I'd say yes, it's normal for that time of year. Remember that the longest day of the year occurs in June (in the Northern Hemisphere) so for several weeks up to & after that point, it never really gets dark. I recently saw a TV program where researchers were trapping bats in Alaska in the summer. They were out doing this at 2-3 am in the morning and it looked like twilight.
