Na, that's just GTA etiquette.

To be classed as road rage in GTA, you need to kill the Taxi driver and the destroy/kill anything/anyone with in the same block radius, preferably using the RPG or Minigun.

Hmm, I wonder if you can do a Vinnie Jones from Lock Stock in GTA4. Car doors make wonderful weapons.
