P.s. I combined this mod with your compass-needle - part of this mod, and it works great.

IMO, it allows for greater accuracy, when setting out a new heading:

WOW, these are beautiful. Super nice work!!!! I have messed with these textures but did not get the clarity you have achieved. Very very nice

Thanks. I could only get this clarity drawing every line new. Two days in painting dials.
But i'm very satisfied with the solution. This ugly looking Hud dials has disturb me from the first day i bought SH4. I hoped so much that one of the graphical artist, who made the wunderful SH3 Dials, take care of SH4. But nothing. At last i have to do it myself.
Time to learn graphic hints for an old man.

I really like those dark dials,any possibility we might get a set for the U-Boats as well.?

here are your Highres German Dark Hud Dials (American side also Dark Huds)



Unfortunally the Depth Needles are painted dark grey. They can only be changed via the Menu1024...ini. A good task for some Menu1024 Gurus.
