I don't understand why he's in trouble. I've seen C-130's doing exercises where they drop a parachute behind them and it pulls some type of machinery off the plane from the ramp. He showed awesome skills by flying over the tree line and then almost on the deck.

I flew C-30s in France (1991) for the Securite Civile, dropping retardant on wild fires. We used to do this sort of stuff every day. You have to add a bit of smoke, flames, turbulence and high tension wires to replicate those days
