Ok, this is what happened. The GWX team arraigned with Uncle Neal to release GWX 2.0 exclusively through SubSim, for a donation to help defray the cost of running the site, for a one week period, before releasing it for general download. UBRS got a hold of a copy and put it up for download on the very first day of that period instead of being courteous and waiting for the general release date. Needless to say the GWX team was not very happy about that, nor were a lot of the members here. If you want gramophone songs, look in this thread just down the page here for Gramaphone Tunes. Jimbuna has posted links to 4 packs of them in that thread with one more on the way.

Yeah, that was wrong considering everything that the gwx team has done for the sub sim community. The all might dollar rules I guess. Kpt Lehman and his team of helpers deserve better than that. I didnt even know what had happened. I have downloaded Jimbunas 4 files from the grammaphone section and picked out some favorites. I also have downloaded some subskins for my spanking new IXB. I am still gonna look for some old " American G.I. music " to listen to. I am into the immerson aspect of it but u53 has some american music sympathizers on it. :rotfl:
