If you're going into Spanish ports to resupply, staying longer than 24 hours, or was it 48, anyway something like that, no more than a few days, would violate their neutrality, which they wouldn't like because the Allies get upset about that sort of thing... look what happened to the Graf Spee in Montevideo
setting the days in port to 1 will simulate you having to leave fairly quickly
