Oh how nice it it to be in the (statistically) intellectual elite and laugh at the other two thirds.

At least the UK isn't the worst*.

Ok, Next poster....

Without checking google:
Whats the capital of Turkey?

Reply along with another question.

*Don't make me get out my national IQ charts!

Ankara but I only know that because I always think Constantinople which is now Istanbul so if you've a date in Constantinople she'll be waiting in Istanbul.

A recent study (multiple choice format) amongst German teenagers having finished school or are being close to finishing it, saw answers like Helmut Kohl having been the last head of state of the GDR, the wall being errected by America, the GDR having been a "Basisdemokratie" (=basic democracy?) and Angela Merkel being the head of some international charity foundation.

But probably the latest entries for the charts for cellphone sounds they all knew while sleeping.

Please hold such answers in high respect. They are coming from those who will be the future of our nations.

They don't know where Everest is, but a whole third know the exact number of countries? It doesn't add up. Hell, I didn't really know the number of countries, though I would have put it around 200. There's disagreemants on the number of nations anyway, as it depends on which nation officially recognises other nations.
