The zeros are more dangerouse than the big flying boats.

in place of the huge bombs the zeros should have an external tank, considering the range the bastard is from base.

It could have been carrier based.

The thing is as the OP said it 'appeared' as though on its present course they would never spot me. Problem is they ALWAYS spot you.
