I am yet to hear of a "bad" man.
No one ever does anything because it is bad. People only ever do things to fulfil their wants or avoid the things they don't want. People do bad things when their wants are selfish or when they are misguided/unwise, but no person does something because they want to be bad. Further more I believe that a selfish attitude is a product, not of being 'bad' but of being unwise/misguided. I do not mind people who offend other people, but Mr Manning said things that hurt other people. I can see no way that he could have done this in a selfless and wise way. I conclude that Mr Manning was therefore not bad, but was misguided and unwise as we all are at sometime or another. I suspect he suffered his share of inner demons as a result and that's a shame for anyone. ![]()
