Even stuff that requires no scripting needs checking
Some of the stuff posted here in the last few days as WIP is still that
No links to D\L and check

Some of the stuff does require additional work - not necessarily scripting but adding to the Locations cfg which is even harder in some cases getting the placement right

I am not sure if these issues have been addressed, but I feel there are some issues with the damage models. At periscope depth I receive fire, and if I take a hit, the hit seems to be dispersed randomly. I am submerged and take damage to the forward torpedo room. If my periscope is up then it is the only thing that can be damaged if there is a “hit” I have issues with actually hitting a periscope.


Second the time to refuel at a milk cow, 30 days?

I hope these can be addressed.

The time to refuel at a milkcow will only change if you edit the basic cfg or use SH3commander

If you edit the cfg time will be your edit in ALL ports unless you change back

Do what ?

Edit the cfg or use SH3commander

I personally would go with SH3commander as gives you a whole heap of other very usefull tweaks
It recognises when you are at a milkcow\resupply or other friendly port and will set days in port to 1

Otherwise

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Open the Basic.cfg in notepad

Scroll down to

[TIME]
TransferFlotilla=1
NbDaysInBase=28
NbPatrolsInFlotilla=3
NbMonthsInFlotilla=6

And change the NbDaysInBase

ALL port stays will be that length unless changed back
Short time in home port WILL lead to you getting the same patrol grid over and over again

Only make the changes while in port
