Great comments DrMilton SH I had manual control over Rig for Red if you wished to use it (and had the normal auto rig for red) if this is not in SH IV would really wonder as this should not be a factor at all in "this day and age of computers". I definitely agree with controlable engines - especially if I am ordered to drop off a team of UDT etc. and have to go in close to shore at night. I want to use my batteries I do not need to hear my diesels in the "still of the night". Playing SH I I remember times I needed to dive deep fast. Hitting the "C" for crash dive moved the planes but I could not control the dive plane angle as much as I would have liked. Repeatedly hitting the "down arrow" seemed to do the trick but always heard the COB say "planes on dive sir!" which can get frustrating. Let us simply choose a steep dive or surface angle to our planes if we wish with either a move of the mouse or the number pad! Engines over heating - another very good addition. Makes one choose how and when to go to flank speed and puts another spin on the "chase". And I like the "General Quarters - Man battle stations" idea. Hopefully we hear the bong bong bong of the battle stations klaxon also!!! Happy Hunting ![]() |

Okay, guys, I don't know what "rig for red" means. Someone please fill me in? Does it mean red light?
