Here's a wild (but sensible) idea!

Ubisoft should dump their existing programmers, and hire the maniacs who invented GW/GWX/NYGM for developing Silent Hunter V. And Seth can be in charge of anti-piracy , but please no StarForce Seth

As much as most would rather prefer ignoring reality; GWX is UBI copyrighted files modified and charging anything for it would kill it as they are not authorized to make a payware add on to SH3.
That does not, however, stop all those that feel like donating to the GW team and Subsim from making a generous contribution to the stellar work and Herculean effort that will likely be the ultimate version of one of the finest games/sims ever to be made.

Once that fee is demanded, however, expect GWX to be axed by Ubi lawyers.

Sorry, I know how some hate reality and all.

Gee, that explains why that one 'expansion pack' (whose company name I shan't mention but we all know and 'love') is for sale online?

Actually it does. They were authorized by UBI.

Sorry again about the reality thing. Not popular and all!

Sorry, that was not my intention.
I was only offering a legal explanation that seemed appropriate.

Please delete this and that post if it helps. I will understand.

You do know you can right-click them to bury them, right?

Really?
Yes. Really. Right click and you get an option to bury them at sea.

Although I normally wind up, when it happens, burying all of us at once in one fell swoop at sea. --mutters--
Wish I,d known that, we've been putting up with the stench for 10 days now and have been tempted to blow them out of the tubes on more than one occasion !

All my money goes to my stinking government in the form of TAX.

But if I had some spare cash, yes.

Here's what I'd do:

1: Pay whatever the price is for it.
2: Grab all the files and package them into 1 .RAR file.
3: Upload them to a free site.
4: Give free enjoyment to thousands.

In short, I don't respond well to Internet payware.
