The Flying Dutchman's behavior depends upon the mod used. Sometimes it is an enemy to your side, sometimes it is friendly. Sometimes it has cannons, sometimes not. In some mods, it is heavily armored, others it is not. In the stock game, it has an armor level of 90, and 600 hit points, with one tiny little box in the middle of the hull, but no collision spheres, making it next to impossible to sink. It carries armor piercing cannon rounds, as well as AA to shoot at its enemy, which in the Stock game, it is Dutch, and will therefore shoot at the Japanese and Germans... One must be careful however, speaking of The Flying Dutchman, as it sails about the world, never able to find its home port to dock... According to some, the Dutchman does not exist, but woe is he that ignores the evidence...
