my SWAG's would be, in no particular order, Gridley Class, Farragut Class, Gleaves Class, or Rudderow Class. The shadows in effect when the film was produced make it nigh impossible to make out distinguishing features.

like i said above, it's tough to identify without a beam photo.

In fact, I'm pretty sure she is a British "modern" single-funnel destroyer (from J to Z class). But I can't figure out what the main guns are.
