Just after 4pm (UK time) and the BBC commentary team following the Queen's funerary cortege have only just twigged that it won't be reaching Edinburgh any time soon (it's now just south of Perth).
 It takes roughly 4 hours by road at approx 60 mph to get to Edinburgh from Aberdeen. The cortege isn't travelling at 60. Assuming they'd only take 6 hrs to get to Edinburgh from Balmoral was a bit naive.  Mike.
