The Jetpack is available on a shelf in the superduper market in Lexington, once the mod is actiavted.

What it does, is this: normally, the Jetpack is available only for power armour, you can create it normally in the game if you have the skill level, by altering your powerarmour accordingly. It adds the same technology in a pack that you can wear like a backpack, no matter your armour, you do not need powerarmour.

I tend to not use it for powerarmour. And I play in powerarmour only rarely anyway.
