Thanks ET2SN , after listening to that parody i went to u tube and found miniature chickens. Phil Hendrie is now in my favorites i'll use my phone to patch it thru the car radio. And i certainly would have enjoyed his radio show. Having a good laugh made those long days go by a lot easier. Thanks

To set it up, Gilbert Godfried did a benefit show in NYC just after 9/11. He told a joke about having to leave soon, his flight was scheduled to land in Atlanta, Miami, and an apartment building. It bombed, heavily. The bit became its own chapter in Dark Comedy after someone in the audience yelled "Too soon!" at the stage. Roughly one month after 9/11 Phil took it to the next level. His friend "Vernon" had gotten a job with the then-new TSA as a supervisor. "Vernon's" idea to save money was to hire mentally challenged kids to screen the x-rays for pistols, knives, and bombs. If they got it wrong, as in saying that a plastic comb was a bomb, "Vernon" would shock them with a Taser. Its been said that there's nothing worse than getting a case of the giggles while you're kneeling in front of a casket. I was listening to that show and I had to pull over to side of the road because I was laughing so hard. |
