I return to port, dock in the right pen (where all the pretty girls show their knickers and throw flowers) and I come to a full stop, come out for fresh air and wave to the crowd. I mean...people are there waiting for you to return.

Well, the girls don't show their knickers (only in my dirtiest dreams) but they do throw flowers at you. Yes, I do come to a full and complete stop and I pop out for fresh air. And yes...there are people waiting for you...so only the knickers part was made up.

Though I hasten to add, this doesn't happen in every port.
