TWOS Splash screen issue

Hi Captains

I just installed SH5 and the TWOS mod on top. When i open the game i looks like this

I can not close these pop up menus. Is this a known issue?

Help is much appreciated

When I get screen like that I just kill and re-launch the game...

Yeah i did that many times, and it is very persistant. Unfortunatly neither of the buttons "Yes, No, Clear and so on reacts to any input :-(

What about administration rights, install location ect? Check my SIG for detailed problem report...

I ran the TWOS install as admin, just to be sure
What is a SIG?
Install location is C:/SH/Silent Hunter

Signature...You have to run the game with full administration rights as well.

No, at least not right away. First try to run the game as administrator and see what will happen. It seems that you have extracted the files correctly.

I have the same issue after installing the megamod. I tried all of what is stated above. Was there any solution for this issue?

Reinstalled 2 times, does not work. I do get an error message about KSD service.svc

Install location D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunter 5

Running without mods enabled

If none of these work please post your mod list.

Thanks for the reply,

Those links provided don`t fix the issue. I run SH5 and the modpack trough steam without any mods enabled. It just gives me the main page with a couple of menu`s that can`t be clicked.

The modpack installed without any errors. Did a clean install a couple of times with the same result

Could it be that your install location has some kind of restriction? Try to remove read only attributes from your install folder. Your problem is quite common for newcomers, search the forum a bit.

Been reading trough the forums all day. Maybe i`m not looking in the correct places but these forums are very alive and there is a lot to read trough

Been dying to play SH5 when it came out but the game felt really unfinnished, there are not even missions in the vanilla game so i left it untouched for years.

Eventually i found out there is a very dedicated modding community, that`s how i came here.

Anyway thanks for the replies, hope to get it working somehow
