Periscope look interval

If the current visual search routine is vastly different than what was done a few years ago, I would be surprised.
Do they go clockwise now instead of counter-clockwise?
Does the Captain clap his hands 3 times and yell "ooga-ooga-ooga" when the scope comes up?
How much difference could there be?

But I will accept your statement that things are done differently now, and it's highly classified.

By the way, anyone ever notice this: Have ya ever met a guy online that was a mess specialist, hull-tech, or plain old Airman?
everyone was a Navy Seal, Army Recon, Naval Aviator, etc.
Amazing, I awlays had good food in the Navy, saw lot's of cooks, but I never see em online. Everyone was the skipper, but no Gilligans.
