Getting permission to dig from the owner is another thing, since there will be a lot of false readings and the only way to check is to dig at every bleep. Edit: still possible in water, just a looooot more difficult and you need to search a bigger area. No fussing with owners though. |

Depends on what the local tides and sea life have been up to. That shallow, human remains should survive, but they'd be dispersed unless the body was buried by wave action fairly quickly.
