File error message clearly indicates that your SH installation path IS NOT S:\games\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

Do you know your Silent Hunter 5 main folder location at all???

You may wish to check install instructions one more time...

And mate, your SH install path is S:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5
not S:\games\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

"Games" is just a name of your S drive...

Hi nycoroner

You have an install error somewhere.

Check my picture and make sure you can see the cfg file in your installation.

My tutorial post #2 picture 13 below shows you the correct installation path.

My guess is this where your error is.

You need to highlight the Silent Hunter 5 main folder and point each of the 9 patchers to install here.
