Default JUST FOUND OUT....!

Apparently, I am considered a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States. My dad was working with the Royal Navy back in the '80s, met my mom, and ended up getting me out of it.

This probably explains why I like British spellings so much, or why I slip into an English accent from time to time.

Make sure you understand what dual citizenship entails before popping any corks.

I would talk with a good immigration attorney experienced in dual citizenship cases.

I don't think Endrass is old enough to worry about dual taxation.

@Endrass
Given that you have the UK citizenship, then you also have the EU citizenship. The Queen of England e.g. does not only have an UK citizenship, but she also has an EU citizenship, she is an EU citizen, u hear that Steed?

That means, you have all the privileges of an EU citzen, like free movement of workers.

To give an example: I recently had a Canadian citizen who was a Swiss-Canadian with dual citizenship. He fell in love with a German woman and wanted to live with her in Germany. Usually, we throw a Canadian without a job out of the country after 3 months when his tourist visa runs out. But the Swiss-Eu relations are such, that Swiss citizens are treated like EU citizens. As a consequence, the Swiss-Canadian has 6 months time to find a job in Germany and needs no visa (less formalities).

How cool is that?
