JUST FOUND OUT....!

Apparently, I am considered a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States. My dad was working with the Royal Navy back in the '80s, met my mom, and ended up getting me out of it.

This probably explains why I like British spellings so much, or why I slip into an English accent from time to time.

Make sure you understand what dual citizenship entails before popping any corks.

I would talk with a good immigration attorney experienced in dual citizenship cases.

Can you say back taxes, debtors prison and bland tasteless food?

So, now it's down to drinking tea with an extended pinkie finger, eh?...

I don't think Endrass is old enough to worry about dual taxation.

Good thing they were all dubbed over and speaking normal German in our version. My childhood was saved.:smug:

Here's a thing I've always wondered about, Schroeder - when an actor is dubbed into (say) German, by a german actor, is the dubbing always done by the same dubber for the same actor in every film?

For instance, if Sean Connery were to be dubbed by Jurgen Prochnow in a 007 film, would Jurgen also dub for him in, say, The Hunt for Red October? That is, is there always a 1 to 1 relationship?

I know, I don't get out much.

As long as the German speaker is available / alive, then - yes.

The guy dubbing Homer Simpson since 1991 is 85 now... and I hope he will continue.
