Not a total failure if like me you got 8.1 where you get sort of a menu back.

It's not only the start menu that was a problem, it was the entire goddamn "modern" UI and the lack of proper support for multitasking. Havign apps that only work in "modern" or only work on the desktop is just stupid, as is trying to make an operating system that can handle any and all platforms, it will end up beign a bloated mess.
All that said, win 10 does at least show some promiss.

I don't use the apps screen and not only that I have the little buggers all switched off. I do agree that MS was trying to show off and the result backed fired in their face, I've now got used to my Win8.1 and it dose the job for me but I do miss SH3 GWX that will not run full stop! Stock yes but GWX is a no no.

Any how what of this cloud business they said for Win10 which back then when Win9 was news, are we going to get stuffed with it or have they dropped it for now?
