The vast majority of "snake handling" churches milk the venom from the snakes so that they don't have any (or just a tiny bit) to inject into a bite victim. That way - they get "bit" but can point to the "power of God" as to why the didn't die..
Perhaps they should review Deuteronomy 6:16, Luke 4:12, Matt 4:7 and Exodus 20:16..... Just sayin.....
