Being in Kentucky, the news hammered us about this idiot. Now his son has taken over doing the same thing.

Tag the snakes so they can be IDed, Register the pastor as their caretaker, make the church follow the same rules as a zoo would. If the snakes escape, hold the church liable and let em do what they want inside.

Sounds like a self correcting problem. Sooner or later they will get bit. :)

So this problem will solve itself bit by bit.:D

The vast majority of "snake handling" churches milk the venom from the snakes so that they don't have any (or just a tiny bit) to inject into a bite victim. That way - they get "bit" but can point to the "power of God" as to why the didn't die..

Perhaps they should review Deuteronomy 6:16, Luke 4:12, Matt 4:7 and Exodus 20:16.....

I personally find peoples pick and choose approach amusing, like the fella who has the verse about not lying with another man tattooed on themselves, mean while the next verse speaks about how tattoos are a sin.....

Strikes me as some what careless.
