Darwin Award of the day.
Just for Skybird:D.
If the Bible told me to [insert idiotic thing here], I would do it.:know: Wish granted! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SL6DNUKI608 :dead::dead::dead: |
Seeing is believing :nope:

New movie out: Snakes on a cloud. :D
I read the story a week ago. I admit: yes, I indeed had a good diabolic giggle. |

Being in Kentucky, the news hammered us about this idiot. Now his son has taken over doing the same thing. |
Better a joke it would be if it would come out that the snake were not a poisonous viper but an non-poisonous natter. Look - a miracle! :D
|
Praise the Lord and pass the Cobra.
Give them a Bushmaster and the problem will cure itself.:smug: |
Tag the snakes so they can be IDed, Register the pastor as their caretaker, make the church follow the same rules as a zoo would. If the snakes escape, hold the church liable and let em do what they want inside.

Lunatics...
|
Sounds like a self correcting problem. Sooner or later they will get bit. :)

The vast majority of "snake handling" churches milk the venom from the snakes so that they don't have any (or just a tiny bit) to inject into a bite victim. That way - they get "bit" but can point to the "power of God" as to why the didn't die..
Perhaps they should review Deuteronomy 6:16, Luke 4:12, Matt 4:7 and Exodus 20:16..... Just sayin..... |
I'm guessing one of those is "put not the Lord thy God to the test"?
I personally find peoples pick and choose approach amusing, like the fella who has the verse about not lying with another man tattooed on themselves, mean while the next verse speaks about how tattoos are a sin..... |
Strikes me as some what careless.
