Taking donations for the Armistead cookbook fund.

For every Seattle touchdown scored, we'll post 1 cookbook in your time of need.

Well that was definitely not how I expected things to go. I thought Seattle was going to win but I thought it would be by 5 not 35.

It's eerily similar to the '86 Superbowl when my Patriots got manhandled by Chicago. Like us back then it's like Denver didn't have anything left after the AFC Championship.

I heard they (Denver) were complaining about the noise there. What the smurf? If it was that noisy there, it's a good thing they didn't play in Seattle! That place is LOUD. Too bad Seattle is three hours away, kids have a dentist appointment, and the weather is kinda nasty, it's tempting to go to the party/parade tomorrow.

On a side note, a co-worker went to THE game, I asked him to get me a souvenir. for once, I can't wait to go to work (on Thurs). Kinda like Christmas now.

I heard that they pipe crowd noise over the PA system in Seattle. Is that true?

I was going to mention this. It is true, there are speakers all over the place in the upper decks. I've heard it's a Paul Allen thing.

I hear they do this at the Blazer games too. I'm not a basketball fan, but a co-worker was telling me about this.

You know i've been checking into this a little and apparently it's a long standing issue with many teams and many stadiums. Apparently the NFL has recently relaxed their noise rules to help create a stadium "atmosphere". Meh.

Maybe it's time to put a headset in every helmet and just pipe the QB's audibles directly to them. That won't totally negate crowd noise but it will serve to level the playing field a little bit for the visiting team.
