Been reading a old news item where a similar thing happen in the UK but the burglar turn down the offer of a cup of tea as the house owner had no Jammie dodgers!

BTW: He left empty handed, read it in a magazine while waiting to see the doc.

Must have been a gent; any old house fraü would have welcomed an errant( but Artful) dodger in her jammies...
